Immigration of Saskatchewan graduates

Application Guide

SINP Saskatchewan nominated overseas graduate category is part of the Saskatchewan experience class immigration. This category is applicable to international graduates who graduated from recognized Canadian higher education institutions. The application requirements for graduates from Saskatchewan and graduates from outside Saskatchewan different.

Saskatchewan graduate application requirements

1. Graduated from a recognized higher education institution in Saskatchewan and obtained a diploma, diploma or degree;

2. Engage in paid work in Saskatchewan for at least six months (or 960 hours). Qualified Saskatchewan work experience includes: on-campus, off-campus, cooperative projects, graduate scholarships that can be verified by educational institutions, and graduate work permits work experience;

3. Have applied for and obtained a valid graduate work permit issued by IRCC;

4. Obtain a long-term full-time job offer related to the applicant's major provided by the employer in Saskatchewan, and the occupation belongs to NOC 0, A, B or a designated skilled occupation;

5. Possess a valid SINP Job Approval Letter;

6. If the job category belongs to NOC C category, at least CLB 4 language level is required.

Application requirements for graduates from other provinces in Canada

1. Complete at least one academic year of full-time study (8 months) in a recognized higher education institution in another Canadian province, be able to graduate and obtain a certificate, diploma or degree;

2. Have applied for and obtained a valid graduate work permit issued by IRCC;

3. After graduation, hold a graduate work permit to engage in paid work related to the major studied in Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months (at least 960 hours);

4. Obtain a long-term full-time job offer related to the applicant's major provided by the employer in Saskatchewan, and the occupation belongs to NOC 0, A, B or a designated skilled occupation;

5. Possess a valid SINP Job Approval Letter;

6. If the job category belongs to NOC C category, at least CLB 4 language level is required.
