Study in Canada-Post Secondary School

College/University/Master's degree or Ph.D

What are the ways to study in Canada?

 1. Transfer credits to undergraduate studies

Many Canadian schools apply for Chinese college students unless they are students from well-known universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University, the school can directly evaluate the students' grades. If it is some unknown school, it is difficult for the school to judge the authenticity of the applicant's materials and will refer the applicant to a specialized institution for a similarly impartial assessment, such as WES.

Although students have the opportunity to reduce credits through assessment, it is not easy and requires a professional counterpart. Science and engineering majors such as engineering and computer science are relatively easy. If you want to obtain credits, students need to provide transcripts and course descriptions, introducing which courses they have studied, how many hours they have studied, teaching language, grades, course structure, etc. Certain credits can be reduced or exempted. According to the number of credits exempted, one or two years of study can be reduced, or courses can be exempted.

Of course, you can also choose to "start over" and start reading from the first year of undergraduate studies. This is mainly suitable for two-year junior college students who want to study in a better school but do not necessarily want to return to their previous majors. The advantage of this method is that it breaks through the limitations of schools and majors, and students can choose majors according to their wishes and interests. As long as the applicant can reasonably explain his study plan, the Canadian visa officer will consider accepting the application, and the possibility of passing the visa is very high.

 2. Enroll in a Postgraduate Diploma Program

Some schools in Canada offer postgraduate diploma courses to help students transition to master's courses. College students can obtain a master's degree by studying for a two-year postgraduate diploma course and then a one-year master's course. Language scores are the best. Of course, there are also many schools that do not require students to have English proficiency. The school issues a conditional admission letter, and the students will strengthen their English in the school, and then enter the course after meeting the requirements.

3. Study in college

It is also an option for junior college students to go to Canada to study at a junior college. They can choose courses that can be transferred to universities for further study. After studying for one to two years, they can transfer to another school and continue to study for a bachelor's degree. If you study for an undergraduate degree and study as an immigrant, the tuition fee will be much lower.

4. Postgraduate Study Abroad

As Canadian colleges have different admission requirements for graduate study abroad, please contact us directly for the most accurate information.

Since the Canadian experience class immigrants tend to be foreign students recently, the master's degree can get more points under the immigration project.

Taking a master's degree not only helps to increase the probability of being invited by immigrants but also helps to return to China for employment.

There are provincial nominee programs in many provinces, and there are more opportunities for higher education than for lower education.
