PR Card Renewal
Canadian Permanent Resident Card (PR Card) is a document for overseas residents to become permanent residents of Canada while maintaining their original nationality.
If the card is expired, lost, damaged or stolen, in order to ensure smooth entry, we should renew the PR card in time. The card is valid for five years from the date of issue. Usually, you can apply for renewal 9 months (270 days) before the card expires. At present, applicants can renew their PR cards by mailing paper materials or submitting materials online. In order to help you update smoothly according to the requirements of the Canadian Federal Immigration Department (IRCC), FLY&SKY has specially collected and sorted out the latest official information, hoping to help!
Requirements:
• be a permanent resident of Canada;
• The applicant must be in Canada when the application is submitted;
o If abroad, apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) from a Visa Application Center or a Canadian Visa Office. After entering the country, you should apply to renew your PR card immediately.
